SaveTheLook earns money through affiliate links. When you click a link on our site and purchase something, the retailer pays us a small commission at no extra cost to you. This is how we keep the lights on.

How affiliate links work

Most product links on SaveTheLook are affiliate links. This means:

• The link tracks that you came from us
• If you purchase, the retailer pays us a commission (usually 3-10%)
• You pay the same price you would pay otherwise
• You are under no obligation to use our links

What this means for our recommendations

We want to be transparent: yes, commissions are how we make money. But our editorial process is designed specifically to remove that influence from what we feature.

Here is what we do not do:

• We do not accept payment for placement
• We do not take sponsorships
• We do not let retailers dictate our reviews
• We do not feature low-quality items just because the commission is high

Here is what we do:

• We feature only items that pass our editorial standards (89%+ visual match, 85%+ savings, quality construction)
• We pick the best retailer for each product, not the one paying the highest commission
• We will tell you if something is overhyped, even if linking to it would earn us money
